Storing NFT metadata on a centralised storage provider like firebase may be at odds with the concepts of web3 and decentralisation.
Nevertheless, in some cases you may want to launch an NFT where the metadata or image is not of inherent value and may require updating at frequent intervals.
In these cases holding the NFT on the blockchain still has value, but you may leverage the fast mutability of data on a centralised storage provider for rapid updates of NFT metadata.
