Bitcoin Ordinal Inscriptions leverage recent upgrades that allow single Satoshis to carry a small amount of data. Currently, that data is being used to hold NFTs but the possibility exists to send various types of data. The Ordinals are traded on Ethereum thanks to emblem vaults, a cross chain defi protocol that allows for interoperability without an Ethereum bridge.
