Meanwhile she’s trying to figure out where in the house she can safely store 47 pieces of noodle artwork. 😂
The fridge was basically our first gallery.
Construction paper was the canvas.
Elmer’s glue was the medium.
And dry pasta was the budget.
WE WERE COOKING. 🍝😭
And honestly, calling macaroni art the original NFT might be the most accurate description ever.
Because what was it?
A one-of-one collectible.
Created by you.
Impossible to perfectly reproduce.
Preserved forever by somebody who loved you.
Except instead of blockchain technology…
IT WAS MACARONI AND GLUE. 💀🍝
Looking back, that’s actually the beautiful part.
We weren’t worried about whether it was good.
We just made something because making something was FUN.
And maybe that’s the part of childhood creativity we should’ve held onto.
Before likes.
Before followers.
Before algorithms.
Before anybody asked whether the art was marketable.
You just grabbed some noodles and said:
